SUMMARY:A Memorable Educational and Historical Journey to Mewat
DESCRIPTION:An Unforgettable Journey of Knowledge\, Heritage\, Brotherhood\, and Belonging \nSome journeys are not merely about traveling from one destination to another; they transform the way we think\, feel\, and connect with our identity. Our educational\, social\, and historical visit to Mewat was one such remarkable experience. It was far more than a tour—it was an opportunity to reconnect with our history\, culture\, roots\, and the people who preserve the rich legacy of Mewat. \nThis memorable expedition was undertaken by Haji Shamsuddin Chishti\, High Court Advocate Muhammad Sharib Khan\, Abdul Hafeez Banarasi\, and Muhammad Ayub. Our common objective was to understand Mewat’s educational development\, social awakening\, and historical heritage while strengthening bonds with the community. \nOur First Stop: Alwar\, Rajasthan \nOur journey began in the historic district of Alwar\, Rajasthan\, where we had the privilege of participating in an educational program organized by Alwar Mewat Institute of Education and Development (AMIED). The event brought together students\, educators\, social workers\, and distinguished members of the Mewati community. \nThe discussions focused on education\, youth empowerment\, community development\, and building a brighter future for the coming generations. From the very beginning\, we felt an extraordinary sense of warmth and belonging. Although we were away from home\, the hospitality of the people made us feel as if we were among our own family. \nMeeting Noor Bhai \nFollowing the educational program\, we attended another gathering hosted by Noor Bhai. His gracious hospitality\, humility\, and dedication to the welfare of society left a lasting impression on us. The respect and affection we received from him reflected the true spirit of Mewati culture. \nVisit to Raja Hasan Khan Mewati Panorama \nOne of the most inspiring moments of our journey was visiting the Raja Hasan Khan Mewati Panorama in Alwar. \nAs we explored this remarkable memorial\, we were reminded of the extraordinary courage and sacrifices of Raja Hasan Khan Mewati\, one of the greatest warriors in Indian history. His unwavering commitment to protecting his land\, culture\, and people filled our hearts with pride and deep respect. It was a powerful reminder that our present identity has been shaped by the sacrifices of our brave ancestors. \nA Heartwarming Visit to Sehshan Village \nOur next destination was Sehshan\, the ancestral village of Muhammad Ayub\, accompanied by CA Mukhtiyar Sahib\, who is also Noor Bhai’s son-in-law. \nThe fragrance of the village soil\, the lush green fields\, the blessings of the elders\, and the innocent smiles of children created an unforgettable atmosphere. We spent nearly three hours in the village\, where every family welcomed us with immense love and affection. \nRather than treating us as guests\, the villagers embraced us as members of their own family. Their generosity\, simplicity\, and heartfelt hospitality made us feel as though we had known them for generations. \nThat evening\, we stayed at the residence of CA Mukhtiyar Sahib\, where we had the opportunity to meet his respected father\, brothers\, relatives\, and close friends. Every conversation reflected dignity\, warmth\, and genuine affection\, making it one of the most memorable experiences of our lives. \nExploring 84 Khamba Mosque and the Battlefield of Khanwa \nThe following day\, accompanied by Mursaleen Bhai\, Personal Assistant to CA Mukhtiyar Sahib\, we visited several historic landmarks. \nOur first destination was the magnificent 84 Khamba Mosque\, an architectural masterpiece that stands as a symbol of Mewat’s rich historical heritage. \nWe then visited the legendary Battlefield of Khanwa\, where countless brave warriors sacrificed their lives to defend their homeland\, faith\, and honour. Standing on that sacred ground filled us with profound emotion. It felt as though the echoes of their courage and sacrifice still resonated through the soil. \nWe also visited Alka Ka Kuan (Alka’s Well) and experienced the essence of Mewati culture firsthand. Every historical site silently narrated stories of courage\, resilience\, and pride. \nAn Evening of Friendship After an enriching day of historical exploration\, Mursaleen Bhai took us to the famous National Dhaba on the highway for dinner. The delicious meal was accompanied by meaningful conversations about Mewat’s glorious history\, educational progress\, social development\, and the future of the younger generation. It was an evening filled with learning\, laughter\, and unforgettable memories. \nVisit to Kaman Constituency \nThe next morning\, CA Mukhtiyar Sahib personally guided us through his Kaman Assembly Constituency. \nWe also visited his educational institution\, where we witnessed the sincere efforts being made to promote quality education. This visit reinforced our belief that education remains the strongest foundation for the progress and prosperity of any community. \nMeeting Historian Siddiq Ahmad Sahib Our journey then took us to Nuh\, where we met the respected social worker and historian Siddiq Ahmad Sahib. \nHe shared invaluable insights into the history\, culture\, traditions\, and contemporary challenges of Mewat. His deep knowledge reminded us that history lives not only in books but also in the memories\, traditions\, and values of the people. We were honoured to have lunch and spend the afternoon at his residence\, where we experienced remarkable hospitality and kindness. \nVisit to Banarasi Village \nTogether with Siddiq Ahmad Sahib\, we visited Banarasi Village\, the ancestral home of Abdul Hafeez Banarasi. \nWalking through the village lanes\, meeting local elders\, visiting mosques\, and interacting with residents allowed us to experience the authentic spirit of Mewat. Every conversation strengthened our understanding of the community’s cultural richness and historical legacy. As night had fallen\, we escorted Siddiq Ahmad Sahib back to his home before preparing for the next day’s program. \nChief Guests at Roopraka Shaheed Minar \nThe following day\, we attended a prestigious event at Shaheed Minar\, Roopraka (Hathin) as Chief Guests. \nThe gathering brought together community leaders\, youth\, scholars\, and social workers from different regions. Witnessing the enthusiasm of young people to learn about their history and contribute to society filled us with optimism and hope. After the program\, Haroon Bhai Chirakalot and Advocate Sher Mohammad Chirakalot warmly welcomed us to their home for lunch. Their family’s affection and hospitality reflected the true values of Mewati tradition. \nReturning to Indore \nAfter successfully completing our journey\, we departed for Indore the following day. Although our vehicle moved forward\, our hearts remained in the villages\, historical monuments\, mosques\, smiling faces\, and heartfelt prayers of the people of Mewat. It truly felt as though we were leaving behind a part of ourselves. \nWhy This Journey Will Always Be Special \nBefore this visit\, we had read and heard a great deal about the Mewati community. However\, this journey allowed us to truly experience Mewat—not merely as a geographical region\, but as a living civilization rich in history\, culture\, unity\, and compassion. We realized that genuine relationships are not built solely through blood ties but through respect\, kindness\, hospitality\, and shared values. \nEvery village welcomed us like long-lost family members. No one treated us as outsiders. Instead\, everyone embraced us with open hearts and sincere affection. Meeting respected elders\, listening to their life experiences\, receiving their blessings\, and understanding their hopes for future generations became the greatest treasure of our journey. \nThe land of Mewat reminded us that our identity is deeply connected with the sacrifices\, courage\, and achievements of our ancestors\, whose legacy continues to inspire future generations. \nFinal Reflections \nThis journey has undoubtedly become one of the most meaningful\, memorable\, and inspiring experiences of our lives. We sincerely pray that Almighty Allah continues to bless Mewat with knowledge\, unity\, peace\, prosperity\, and brotherhood. We express our heartfelt gratitude to every host\, historian\, social worker\, community leader\, family\, and well-wisher who welcomed us with immense love\, honour\, and generosity. This was not merely a journey across different places—it was a journey toward rediscovering our roots\, understanding our heritage\, strengthening our identity\, and renewing our commitment to serve society through education and awareness. \nMewat gifted us much more than beautiful memories. It gave us a renewed sense of purpose\, a deeper understanding of our heritage\, and lifelong bonds with people whose warmth and affection will forever remain etched in our hearts. This unforgettable journey will always occupy a golden chapter in the story of our lives.
