About Me:

My Journey through Life – A Mission of Education, Service, and the Betterment of the Community

“The true success of life is not measured by wealth or position, but by the smiles on the faces of those whose lives have become better because of you.”

All praise is due to Almighty Allah, who blessed me with a life that gave me the opportunity to pursue education, serve society, and contribute to the welfare of my community. From the very beginning, my sincere desire has been that my life should not be limited to my own personal growth, but that my knowledge, experience, and hard work should benefit every deserving person in society.

I was born on 7 May 1954. I received my primary education in government schools, where simplicity, hard work, and self-respect became the foundation of my character. Later, I completed my Master’s Degree (M.A.) in Political Science from Gujarati College, Indore. During my student years, I realized that education is the greatest strength of any nation or community. Wherever there is knowledge, there is progress, awareness, justice, and prosperity.

This belief inspired me to dedicate myself to social service from my student days.

Through the Madhya Pradesh Student Welfare Organization, I organized free coaching classes for economically weaker and meritorious students at Vivekananda Sabhagrah, Indore University, from 1979 to 1983. Although resources were limited, our determination was unwavering. As a result, thousands of students benefited from these classes, completed their education, and moved forward successfully in life. Even today, meeting those successful individuals fills my heart with immense pride and satisfaction.

My interests were never confined to academics alone. Sports also played a significant role in shaping my personality. I had the honor of representing the Indore University Hockey Team in Udaipur, and I also represented my college in hockey, kabaddi, and football. Sports taught me invaluable lessons in discipline, leadership, perseverance, teamwork, and resilience—qualities that continue to guide every aspect of my social work.

During my government service, I remained actively associated with various social and cultural activities. I served as the Secretary of the Postal Recreation Club and the Joint Secretary of the Government Employees Sports Club. These responsibilities enriched my experience in organizational management, teamwork, and community leadership.

In 1985, I actively participated in the Unity and Peace March organized under the banner of the Block Youth Congress. Later, in 1987, I attended the Young Motivator Training Program of the Indian National Congress and received national-level training from the Seva Dal in New Delhi. These experiences strengthened my belief that genuine social service is achieved not merely through speeches, but through disciplined organization, honest leadership, and consistent dedication.

My social journey formally began in 1984 with the organization of an Eid Milan Ceremony through the Mohalla Vikas Samiti. Subsequently, I had the privilege of serving as the State General Secretary of the All India Mev Sabha. Since 1983, I have remained actively involved in organizing the birth anniversary of Shaheed Saadat Khan Mewati. I firmly believe that a society which remembers its history, martyrs, and great personalities builds a stronger future.

Over the years, I have actively participated in organizing community introduction conferences, mass marriage ceremonies, Diwali Milan, Eid Milan, harmony conferences, anti-drug awareness campaigns, talent felicitation ceremonies, and numerous social awareness programs. I was also honored to serve as the Patron of the Mev Mass Marriage Conference, Songiri. I believe that the true purpose of social service is to solve people’s problems while strengthening unity, mutual trust, and brotherhood.

The post-pandemic period presented a major challenge in reconnecting society. During this time, we successfully published the first-ever Indore Mev Directory across the state and organized a grand Mev Community Conference. The objective was to unite the community, strengthen social connections, and inspire the younger generation to remain connected with their identity and heritage. We also organized a children’s introduction conference with Maksi Committee, which received overwhelming support from the community.

After working among the people for several decades, I came to realize an important truth. Across the country, many organizations are sincerely engaged in remarkable social work and deserve appreciation. However, in some cases, social service has unfortunately become limited to publicity, personal recognition, and appearances, resulting in little real benefit to society.

This realization became a turning point in my life.

For many years, I envisioned establishing an organization that would not serve as a platform for personal promotion, but as a strong, transparent, and dedicated institution committed entirely to the welfare of society. Its mission would include education, social welfare, public awareness, youth guidance, women’s empowerment, legal aid, talent recognition, and humanitarian service.

To transform this vision into reality, I consulted respected scholars, senior social workers, government officials, educationists, advocates, and public representatives from across India. With their valuable guidance, experience, and prayers, the establishment of M.E.W.A.T.I. – MEO Educational Welfare Awareness Trust, Indore (India) was finalized. Together with senior colleagues, the Trust was formally registered to ensure that this mission continues for generations to come.

Today, the Trust’s objective is not merely to organize events, but to spread the light of education, support economically disadvantaged students, provide guidance for competitive examinations, honor talented students, promote social awareness, organize health camps, offer legal assistance, empower women and youth, and strengthen the values of brotherhood, national unity, and humanity.

We firmly believe that the greatest wealth of any community lies in its educated youth, aware citizens, and united society. If we provide our children with quality education, strong moral values, and the right direction, future generations will naturally build a better society.

I earnestly appeal to every member of our community—our youth, elders, sisters, teachers, advocates, doctors, businesspersons, government officials, and all compassionate individuals—to support this noble mission with your time, resources, and dedication. Even a small contribution can transform the education of a child, bring hope to a struggling family, and change someone’s life forever.

Vision:

This Trust does not belong to any individual; it belongs to the entire community. Its success is our shared responsibility. Let us work together to build a society where education reaches every home, unemployed youth receive opportunities, underprivileged children are empowered to achieve their dreams, brotherhood flourishes, and future generations proudly remember our efforts.

For the past 37 years, New MEO Times Newspaper has been serving as a bridge connecting the Mevati community across India completely free of charge. Throughout this long journey, not a single rupee has ever been taken from members of the community for this service.

I pray to Almighty Allah to bless us with sincerity, honesty, trustworthiness, steadfastness, and the ability to continue serving humanity with pure intentions. May He accept our efforts, bless our society with knowledge, peace, unity, and progress, and enable us to leave behind a legacy that future generations will proudly cherish.

Philosophy:

“Every nation in the world is awakening, yet sadly, my own community still refuses to turn over and rise.”
