MEWATI — Meo Educational Welfare Awareness Trust, Indore
The true secret of a nation’s progress lies in its education, morality, unity and service to humanity. Where the lamp of knowledge is lit, the darkness of ignorance begins to fade. Where awareness exists, paths open for justice, peace, equality and development. With these high objectives in view, MEWATI — Meo Educational Welfare & Awareness Trust, Indore was established. It is not merely a trust but a social movement whose purpose is to serve humanity, to spread education, to guide youth, to empower women, and to awaken the whole society.
We believe that when knowledge reaches every home, when every child receives education, when every young person understands and hones their skills, and when every household knows its rights and duties — only then will a strong, peaceful and progressive society emerge.
What MEWATI stands for :
Meo
Meo represents the community’s culture, history, identity and traditions. The heritage in our roots gives us unity and dignity.
Educational
To bring the light of education to every child, every youth and every family. Education will not be confined to books alone.
Welfare
To work for the aid, relief, welfare and empowerment of the needy — so that no one goes hungry, no one dies for lack of medical care, and no child is deprived of schooling.
Awareness
To spread awareness about education, health, law, environment, women’s empowerment, digital safety and social rights — so society becomes informed and vigilant about its rights.
Trust
To operate on the principles of trust, transparency and accountability. The community’s confidence is our greatest asset and we will safeguard it with honesty.
Indore
Starting from Indore and extending across India to work for brotherhood, unity and social development. Indore is our base; our impact will be national.
MEWATI’s mission is not only to run programs but to bring about meaningful and sustainable social change. Its main elements are:
- Promoting quality education and honoring meritorious students with scholarships.
- Supporting economically and socially disadvantaged families.
- Providing career guidance, skill development and leadership training to youth.
- Running programs for women’s education, health and economic empowerment.
- Delivering services and awareness on health, sanitation and environmental protection.
- Educating people about legal rights, digital safety and civic responsibilities.
- Promoting peace, communal harmony and national unity.
- Earning public trust through transparency and accountability.
We envision building a society where:
- No child is denied education due to poverty or geography.
- No talented youth is left behind because of financial hardship.
- Every woman knows her rights and opportunities and becomes self-reliant.
- The elderly receive respect and needy families receive support.
- We aim to nurture generations that exemplify knowledge, ethics, unity, love and humanity.
The first revealed word in Islam was “Iqra” — “Read.” This highlights the supreme value of knowledge. Education is not merely a means to employment; it is the strongest tool for character formation, changing mindsets and bringing positive social transformation. MEWATI believes that a home with education commands respect; a community with knowledge advances; and a society with awareness sustains peace and justice. Therefore our emphasis is not on one segment alone but on building an educational ecosystem — schools, families, community resources and guidance.
- Scholarships and financial aid: Grants for meritorious but economically disadvantaged students to continue their studies.
- Tuition and coaching support classes: Free supplementary education for children in government schools.
- Digital classrooms and online resources: Training and materials to increase digital access in remote areas.

In modern society, reading alone is not enough; correct information and empowered civic awareness are equally necessary. MEWATI spreads awareness in these areas:
- Health and hygiene: Disease prevention, nutrition, women’s health and mental wellbeing.
- Legal rights and civic knowledge: Rights and protection mechanisms for women, children, workers and persons with disabilities.

India’s strength lies in its plurality of religions, languages and cultures. MEWATI believes unity in diversity is the real power. We work to build bridges between communities, promote cultural exchange and connect people with the values of the Constitution. We spread messages of love, respect and brotherhood
Every activity of the trust will be based on honesty, transparency and accountability. We will be clear about fund usage, project reporting and our communication with the community. Our aim is to earn and sustain public trust — because that is our greatest capital.
Our inspiration is the child who wants to learn; the youth who wants to advance; the woman who seeks self-reliance; the elder who deserves respect; and the family that needs social support. Their aspirations light our way. We firmly believe that if one hand helps another, long-term and sustainable change is possible.
We appeal to philanthropists, teachers, traders, doctors, lawyers, social workers, youth and every kind-hearted person to join this noble mission. You can contribute in many ways:
